Quality Control
Quality Defined by Application, Not Assumption
At LAMSOR Exports, quality control is not governed by generic grading systems or post-production checks. Quality is defined project by project, based on the intended architectural use, technical requirements, and approved material characteristics.
Natural stone is inherently variable. Our role is to understand how each stone will perform — structurally, visually, and over time — and to control every stage of selection and processing accordingly.
Integrated Quality Control Across Manufacturing
Quality control is embedded throughout the manufacturing and execution process, not isolated to final inspection.
Raw Material Selection
Every block is evaluated at the sourcing stage for structural integrity, grain behaviour, colour characteristics, and suitability for its intended application.
Sorting & Specification Matching
Mining yields multiple grades simultaneously. Material is systematically sorted and shortlisted strictly in accordance with approved project specifications.
Processing & Dimensional Accuracy
Cutting, sizing, shaping, and finishing are monitored to maintain dimensional tolerances, edge definition, surface consistency, and batch uniformity.
Pre-Dispatch Verification
Before dispatch, finished material is inspected against approved samples and documented requirements to ensure full alignment with agreed quality parameters.
Each stage functions as a quality control checkpoint. A compromise at any single point directly impacts performance at site — which is why quality is treated as a continuous process, not a final filter.

Managing Natural Variation with Clarity
Variation is a natural characteristic of stone, not a defect. For materials with inherent variation, LAMSOR Exports follows a structured approval process:
- •Representative sample clusters are prepared to demonstrate acceptable variation
- •Variation ranges are documented and approved prior to production
- •Supplied material remains strictly within the approved range
This approach ensures complete alignment between expectation and delivery — particularly critical for architectural and export projects.
Zero Compromise on Approved Quality
Once quality parameters are defined and approved, no compromise is permitted.
Production timelines, cost pressures, or logistical constraints do not override agreed specifications. This principle applies equally across focused architectural elements and large, complex developments.
Quality Shaped by Project Experience
Our quality systems are informed by decades of on-site construction and project execution, including domestic projects with a cumulative value exceeding USD 1 million. This experience allows us to evaluate quality not only at the factory level, but also in terms of:
Installation behaviour
Structural performance
Long-term durability
Quality control at LAMSOR Exports is therefore grounded in how stone performs in real environments, not just how it appears at dispatch.
